Privacy Policy

Updated: Dec 19, 2025

Overview
Psyched is a pre-launch mental health product operating in a limited pilot phase. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices—especially if you choose to connect your Google Calendar.

Information We Collect
a) Waitlist Information
If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address (and any information you choose to provide). We use this to send occasional updates about the pilot and launch.

b) App Information (Pilot)
If you use the Psyched pilot experience, we may collect information you submit such as mood check-ins, notes, and usage/activity within the app.

c) Google Calendar Data (Only If You Connect It)
If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, Psyched may access and display calendar event data to power features like a daily schedule view. Depending on the permissions you grant, this may include event titles, start/end times, description, location, and attendee status.

We only access Google Calendar data after you explicitly authorize access.

  1. How We Use Your Information
    We use your information to:
  • Provide and improve Psyched features you use (e.g., showing your day view and helping you reflect on patterns).
  • Operate the pilot, troubleshoot issues, and maintain security.

We do not sell your personal information.

  1. How We Use Google User Data (Google Calendar)
If you connect Google Calendar, we use that data only to provide user-facing features inside Psyched (for example, showing your schedule and helping you organize your day).

We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to operate the app (for example, infrastructure/service providers) or for security/legal requirements.

  1. Data Storage and Retention
Our goal is to minimize what we store.
  • By default, we may fetch your Google Calendar events as needed to display them in-app.
  • We may store limited derived information you create in Psyched (for example, your mood entries or notes linked to a day).
We retain data only as long as needed for the pilot, operations, and legal/security purposes.
  1. Sharing
We may share data with trusted service providers that help us operate Psyched (e.g., hosting and security tools). They are only permitted to process data for providing services to Psyched.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect safety and security.

  1. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
  2. Your Choices
  • You can stop sharing Google Calendar data by disconnecting Google access from your Google Account settings.
  • You can request deletion of your Psyched pilot data by contacting us using the form on our website.
  1. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes to how we use Google user data, we will update this policy and obtain any required consents before using data in a new way.
